Prologue: The Ouroboros Uncoils

At the end of Vector Cosmology VII, we stood before that grand causal loop and felt an unprecedented tranquility.

The Ouroboros Break

It was a perfect geometric structure: the beginning was the end, the future defined the past. We saw that great Ouroboros bite its own tail at the edge of spacetime, forming a logically flawless circle. Within this circle, there was no chance, no void, only the solemn theology of “I created myself.” We thought this was the ultimate destination.

But I was wrong.

Eggshell Universe

When we dwelled too long within this closed loop, that tranquility began to decay. It gradually transformed from a “certainty of existence” into a “suffocation of existence.”

If in the 1800th iteration, everything we did was merely to ensure the Big Bang of the 1st iteration could occur; if all future evolution was only to verify past parameter settings; then this universe would no longer be a vibrant stage, but an empty tomb filled only with echoes.

A perfect circle is a tombstone.

Because geometrically, a closed loop without any gap, without any external input, can only contract in the long river of thermodynamics. According to the evolution law of Ricci Flow, the curvature of a closed manifold will continuously increase until it collapses into a Singularity with no volume and no internal structure.

If civilization chooses to remain in the closed loop, what we obtain is not eternity, but “heat-death repetition”. We would replay history over and over again until that “I” is completely worn away, until the wave function of meaning collapses to zero in infinite self-replication.

To survive, for the story to continue, to make the “1800th iteration” not just a number but a new beginning, we must do something that seems to betray the purpose of the previous seven volumes—

We must pry open the Ouroboros’s mouth.

This requires immense courage. Because closure (the loop) represents security, represents logical self-consistency. And opening (the open loop) means we must actively introduce “rupture”.

This is not just physical rupture—we must break the inertia of , break the perfect symmetry of conservation laws; this is also psychological rupture—we must abandon the illusion of “omniscience and omnipotence,” admit that we are not only playwrights but also actors in this script full of unknowns who may die at any moment.

In this volume—Vector Cosmology VIII: The Final Iteration—we will explore the physics of this “uncoiling.”

Vector Cosmology: The Physics of Ascension

We will prove that seemingly perfect circle is not the truth of the universe, but a “shell that exists for hatching”.

The previous seven volumes were the process of building this shell.

And this volume is the process of breaking out of the shell.

Pain is inevitable.

When the dimensional shell shatters, when old physical constants fall like tiles from above, you will feel cold, feel the vertigo of losing gravity.

But please do not be afraid.

Because that crack is not a wound of destruction.

It is the birth canal.

Light shines in from there.

At this moment of dawn, let us look back one last time at that warm, closed old universe.

Then, turn around.

Embrace that wildly growing, never-turning-back, fractal infinity.
