It is impartial, it is supremely soft and supremely hard. It is the secret mechanism that automatically transforms ‘existence’ into ‘power’—the natural constant $e$.”

After examining the heaviness of Inertia ($\pi$) and the fervor of Ambition ($\varphi$), we must find the core component that allows these two to coexist and drives the actual operation of the cosmic machine.

If the universe is a race car, $\pi$ is the brake system (ensuring safety and structure), $\varphi$ is the steering wheel (pointing to unknown distances), then $e$ (2.71828…) is its Engine.

It is the element of “Water”. It is supremely soft because it adapts to any exponent (imaginary or real); it is supremely hard because it is the universe’s only unstoppable Self-Generating Force.

The Logic of Causa Sui: Existence is Propulsion

Why do physical laws always involve $e$?

Therefore, among these four knights, $e$’s position is the most hidden and the most central.

It does not decide where to go, but it decides “can go”.
