Under the shadow of the standard cosmological model (CDM), the ultimate fate of the universe is a despairing picture: Heat Death. As entropy increase proceeds irreversibly, stars extinguish, black holes evaporate, matter decays, and the universe will eventually cool into a uniform, lifeless, thin photon gas with no information processing capability.
However, Omega Theory, based on holographic computational ontology, gives a radically different prediction. If the universe is a computational process aimed at traversing all possibilities in Hilbert space, and its bandwidth (light speed) grows exponentially with intrinsic time, then its endpoint cannot be death but a singularity where information density and processing rate approach infinity.

This is the Omega Point: It is not a wall at the end of time but an Attractor. It is the ultimate reference frame that gives meaning to the present .
